Eyesight Improvement :Q&A

Filed under: Eyesight Blog — Improve Eyesight @ 4:05 pm

I receive pretty many questions on a daily basis regarding eyesight improvement. During of a few of my last lectures I figured out that many people get interested in the way how I answer these questions. They find that they can relate to many of these questions pretty often. So, let’s start :

Q: I wanted to know whether I have to perform exercise after removing lenses or we can perform the relaxation exercises with my lenses on.. as i have to wear the lens in the office i cannot remove them every time so please guide me.. what and how should I start… regards

A: Of course, you have to take your contacts off, and the best way would be to never wear them again. You can use your old glasses with the lower prescription. Just remember that while you are still wearing contact lenses your eyes can’t relax.

Q:  I just wanted to ask about the blinking relaxation technique. After you’ve done the exercise you have to blink very very fast or slowly? And how many seconds do you have to blink?Like 10 20 seconds?

A: Yes, you are absolutely right, you have to blink very-very fast after each exercise. When you finished the whole program, try to relax eyes with some more serious eye relaxation technique such as Palming

Q: Hi I went through almost the whole website and I am really thrilled and excited to apply on myself and hope to see results. I have only one question I have -7.5 number in both eyes , cataract in both eyes in left it is more as compare to right , night blindness , binocular eyes and in 24 only and I would like to mention that I am a female so I wanted to ask will all these exercise will help me in all my eye problems? Please reply as soon as you can!

A: Yes, you CAN correct all of these problems, but you have to work pretty hard. Cataract people usually have to do the program with eye open and then repeat it with the eyes closed. They also have to take care of their nutrition and start juicing dark green leafy veggies.  -7.5 is still very workable condition.

Q: I tried the eye relaxation and it relaxes my eyes. I notice a vision increase after palming and all the other exercises but a few second later it goes away why is that?

A: Oh dear, you have to work much more if you would like to return your vision back, but the relaxation is the base of all of the eye exercises, you just need to help your eyes to gain the relaxation condition at all times…

Eyesight Supplementation

Filed under: Eyesight Blog — Improve Eyesight @ 10:44 pm

More of the half of the emails coming to me have eyesight supplementation questions in them. Even during my lectures many people ask about this topic. I figured it must be extremely important for everybody to hear the answer.

Since I am mathematician I prefer to organize everything, even my answers, believe it or not.  Well, let’s think. Let’s pretend that we are eat the best food in the world. We receive the best and the most expensive supplementation in the world. We drink the best water (as we think) that is brought to us from the Northern glaziers. But we still seat on our butt and do nothing else thinking that the best food in the world is going to heal us. Are we right about this approach?

We think that going for a walk is not needed, we think that the exercises are not needed, we are still upset with the way we are and with the way some people are ( or the boss, or the neighbor, or the parent, etc.). We honestly think that by feeding our body best food from around the world and giving it the best supplementation will do wonders to the body.

We totally forget that we have to clean up what we have done to the body. We totally forget that the body simply has no power or ways to bring the food and supplementation to the eyes and other important organs. It is the blood circulation in our body that does this wonderful job of cleaning and delivering the food. If the blood circulation is poor none of the supplementation will work, the best food will help you to improve your energy levels, but only to the certain level. It is the blood circulation and the positive emotions that are able to perform miracles in your body and mind. Without mind’s help there is no hope for the body and vise versa.

And now here is my opinion about eye supplementation. The most helpful is on the top.

  • freshly squeezed vegetable juices
  • raw vegetables
  • dried berries and vegetables
  • dehydrated berries and vegetables
  • frozen berries
  • supplementation

Please, note that I separate dried and dehydrated.

I am happy to hear your comments.

Precious Honey

Filed under: Eyesight Blog — Improve Eyesight @ 10:12 am

Raw Honey for Sore Eyes

Here is the trick of the day that I most of the times forget to tell on my lectures – Raw Honey. It is extremely easy to use it. Just dilute it 1:1 with water. Try to use clean water. You can either put one drop of this solution into each eye or you can rinse your eyes in this solution.

Use this procedure if your eyes are itchy, irritated, if you have dry eyes, if you have sensitivity for the wind or sun. This procedure is extremely important for people that had eye surgery. You know that doctors say that cornea never heals after the lasik surgery. If you do this procedure for a month it will sure help.

Scientists from India, Mali after the research used to treat cornea in cases of measles, their colleagues from Soviet Union did double-blind research and treat keratits, corneal ulcers, injuries to the cornea with Raw Honey.

Which honey to use? Try to find local WHITE honey.

Good luck!

Jane

P.S. Please, leave you comments about when you try, let me know how did it work for you

What About Pinhole Glasses?

pinhole glasses do they work

pinhole glasses

Let’s talk about Pinhole Glasses.

I have been asked by many people what do I think about pinhole glasses and do I recommend them. Do they really work?

Hmmm…How do I put this?

Well, I was born and grew up in the desert. You think there is no connection, right? Actually, there is. We, people from Asia, never answer straight. Instead, we tell the story and this story makes you to come up with the answer by yourself.

Recently I complimented one guy telling him that he is getting better and better at his talks. His answer surprised me a lot. He said “No, you just keep asking me questions and I find that I know much more about the topic than I thought originally”.

Let’s do the same thing – I will ask you the question and you will give me the answer at the end.

Take off your glasses or contacts. Make a TINY hole with your hand by folding over your index finger and holding it down with your thumb (you’ll need to experiment with this), and then look through the hole with one eye. You will notice that you see much better. I used this trick pretty often when I needed to see something clearly from the distance. You are not squeezing your eyes, you are not relaxing them, you just see a little tiny spot through this hole, but you see it clearly.

Does this little trick make you see better when you stop doing this?

This is the exact copy of the idea of the pinhole glasses.

Now I would really like to hear your own answer about them whether they really work or not.

Leave your comments, please.

These AMAZING Cucumbers

Filed under: Eyesight Blog — Improve Eyesight @ 7:18 pm

My Grandma never liked when I ate too many cucumbers. She was telling that they are nothing but water.

Here is something that shocked her.

1. Looking to fight off that
afternoon or evening snacking binge? Cucumbers
have been used for centuries and often used by
European trappers, traders and explores for
quick meals to thwart off starvation.

2.
Have an important meeting or job interview and
you realize that you don’t have enough time to
polish your shoes? Rub a freshly cut cucumber
over the shoe, its chemicals will provide a
quick and durable shine that not only looks
great but also repels
water.

3. Out of WD 40 and need to fix a squeaky hinge? Take a
cucumber slice and rub it along the problematic
hinge, and voila, the squeak is gone!

4.
Stressed out and don’t have time for massage,
facial or visit to the spa? Cut up an entire
cucumber and place it in a boiling pot of water,
the chemicals and nutrients from the cucumber
with react with the boiling water and be
released in the steam, creating a soothing,
relaxing aroma that has been shown the reduce
stress in new mothers and college students
during final exams.

5. Just finish a
business lunch and realize you don’t have gum or
mints? Take a slice of cucumber and press it to
the roof of your mouth with your tongue for 30
seconds to eliminate bad breath, the
phytochemcials will kill the bacteria in your
mouth responsible for causing bad
breath.

6. Looking for a ‘green’ way to
clean your faucets, sinks or stainless steel?
Take a slice of cucumber and rub it on the
surface you want to clean, not only will it
remove years of tarnish and bring back the
shine, but is won’t leave streaks and won’t harm
you fingers or fingernails while you
clean.

7. Using a pen and made a mistake? Take the outside of the
cucumber and slowly use it to erase the pen
writing, also works great on crayons and markers
that the kids have used to decorate the walls!!

Pass this along to everybody you
know who is looking for better and safer ways to
solve life’s everyday
problems..

Do you like presents?

Filed under: Eyesight Blog — Improve Eyesight @ 3:32 pm

Tomorrow is going to be a birthday of one very good person and I decided to prepare one special present – the CD of our local birds singing. I recorded them all by myself. I love doing this. Listening to the birds helps your brain to find these special waves that help you to wake up the creativity. It also helps you to calm down, to release negative emotions, to fall asleep and to energize at the same time.

Enjoy!

P.S. Max out the sound.

Sincerely yours

7 Don’ts After a Meal

Filed under: Eyesight Blog — Improve Eyesight @ 2:26 pm

Raw food recipe - Raw Mini BurgersWe all eat.

We eat all the time. But do we know HOW BAD it is to perform certain activities right after a meal?

————————7 Don’ts After a Meal——————-

  • Don’t smokeExperiment from experts proves that smoking a cigarette after meal is comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes (chances of cancer is higher).
  • Don’t eat fruits immediately - Immediately eating fruits after meals will cause stomach to be bloated with air. Therefore take fruit 1-2 hr after meal or 1 hr before meal.
  • Don’t drink tea - Because tea leaves contain a high content of acid. This substance will cause the Protein content in the food we consume to be hardened thus difficult to digest.
  • Don’t loosen your belt - Loosening the belt after a meal will easily cause the intestine to be twisted and blocked.
  • Don’t bathe - Bathing will cause the increase of blood flow to the hands, legs & body thus the amount of blood around the stomach will therefore decrease.  This will weaken the digestive system in our stomach.
  • Don’t walk about - People always say that after a meal walk a hundred steps and you will live till 99. In actuality this is not true… Walking will cause the digestive system to be unable to absorb the nutrition from the food we intake.
  • Don’t sleep immediately - The food we intake will not be able to digest properly. Thus will lead to gastric & infection in our intestine.
  • FINALLY DONT JUST READ IT YOURSELF….PLEASE FORWARD IT TO YOUR FRIENDS.

Improve your eesight with Black Currant

Filed under: Eyesight Blog — Improve Eyesight @ 1:29 pm

from Artemis-international

The black currant is a deciduous shrub, originated in Europe, Asia Pacific and North America (native to the Midwestern and Northern parts of North America).

The black currant berries are found in clusters (4-6 berries) and are ready to be picked in August.

Black currants are used in making juice beverages, jellies, preserves, pancake syrup, and ice cream. A unique glaze is prepared from black currant for meats like fish and poultry.

In the wild, many species of birds and bear feed on the sweet berries. Black currant was popular in pioneer times and was used as a remedy for colds or to soothe a sore throat to minimize the severity of respiratory infections.

A renowned French liqueur known as “cassis” is prepared from black currant. The French have traditionally used this berry to treat arthritis, rheumatism, and retinal dysfunctions. Black currant is a popular drink in the United Kingdom where it is considered a healthy juice choice.

Today, black currant is used as a supplement to enhance immune function, arthritis, and to improve vision.

Fun fact: Black currant, once widely cultivated in the US, carried a disease that wiped out pine forests and so was eradicated in the 1930’s New Deal Work programs. After many decades of careful breeding, the US has begun to allow the cultivation of certain black currant species, bringing home this rich source of healthy fruit. active plant..

Composition

Its Vitamin C content is among the highest at 155-215 mg (per 100 g) compared to orange juice at 53 mg. Black currant also contains high concentrations of potassium, iron, organic acids, and biologically.

Black currant is particularly rich in Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) and Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). These are essential fatty acids (EFA), vital to the well being of the body, and are required for normal brain function, growth, development, bone health, stimulation of skin, hair growth, regulation of metabolism, and maintenance of reproductive processes.

Anthocyanins (cyanidin-3-glucoside, cyanidin-3-rutinoside, delphinidin-3-glucoside, Research has indicated that black currant has a potentially beneficial role in the areas of immune system, visual function, and anti-oxidation.

Vitamin D May Save Your Eyesight

Filed under: Eyesight Blog — Improve Eyesight @ 2:08 pm

By Dr. Sharon Orrange

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is the leading cause of blindness in Americans over the age of 60. Prevention of AMD is key since the treatments we have don’t really work and part of our answer may be in vitamin D. High levels of vitamin D in the bloodstream may help protect against early age-related macular degeneration (AMD) in women younger than 75, according to a recent study.

Vitamin D has both anti-inflammatory and immune-modulating properties, and might suppress the inflammatory cascade leading to AMD. Serum 25(OH) D, which can be measured on a routine blood test, reflects vitamin D exposure from diet, supplements and sunlight, making it the preferred marker for determining your vitamin D status.

In women aged 50-79, a 25(OH)D concentration higher than 38 nmol/L had a significant 48% decrease in the odds of early AMD. Women who consumed the most vitamin D (food or supplements) had a 59% decreased odds of developing early AMD, compared with women who consumed the least vitamin D.

These data support previous observations that vitamin D status may potentially protect against development of AMD.

It seems every month we get more news on the benefits of vitamin D. More studies are necessary to confirm this association with AMD but it’s easy to ask your doctor for a Vitamin D level to be measured at your next physical, and if it’s lower than 38 nmol/L get to work on raising it.

What Is A Squint? What Is Strabismus?

Filed under: Eyesight Blog — Improving Eyesight copy @ 7:40 pm
Written by Christian Nordqvist for Medical News Today A squint, also known as strabismus is a condition in which the eyes do not align properly, one of them turns inwards, upwards, downwards, or outwards while the other one focuses at one spot. Typically, the extraocular muscles are not working in coordination, resulting in each eye unable to gaze at the same spot at the same time. If both eyes are not completely aligned, binocular vision is not possible, making it harder for the person to appreciate depth perception. Strabismus can also be caused by a disorder in the brain which cannot coordinate the eyes correctly. According to the National Health Service (NHS), UK, squints affect approximately 5% of children and usually develop during their first 36 months of life (sometimes later). Squints are sometimes identified in infants a few days after they are born. Four types of squints:
  • The eye turns inwards - Esotropia (less common)
  • The eye turns outwards - Exotropia (less common)
  • The eye turns upwards - Hypertropia
  • The eye turns downwards - Hypotropia
People can also have persistent or intermittent squints. The earlier in life a squint can be identified and treated, the more effective that treatment is likely to be. A squint, if left untreated, can eventually develop into lazy eye (amblyopia), in which the brain starts ignoring input from one of the eyes. The brain ignores one of the eyes to avoid double vision. If a child has poor vision in the squinting eye, wearing a patch over the other eye might help the squinting eye's proper development. Sometimes a squint comes back later in adulthood, even though it had been successfully treated when the patient was a child. In such cases the adult may have double vision, because by that time the brain is trained to gather data from both eyes, it cannot ignore one of them. According to Medilexicon's medical dictionary:
Strabismus is "A manifest lack of parallelism of the visual axes of the eyes." More news about Improving eyesight naturally
